Registration

The conference is free, but registration is required. If your registration is accepted, you will receive a confirmation email. 

Conference location

The conference will take place in the Theil building, Woudestein campus, Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Keynotes lectures are in CB-5 (ground floor, called B floor) and parallel sessions in C1-5 and C1-6 (1st floor).

Tickets

  • Rotterdam day ticket (local transport card Rotterdam, except train): https://www.public-transport-holland.com/product/rotterdam-day-ticket
  • Anonymous OV-chipcard (also called OV-chipkaart): Or buy an OV-card for €7,50 and load this with money (can use it on both train, tram and busses). Please be aware that to be able to travel by train you have to have €20 on the card when check-in in, this makes this card less attractive for a short stay.

Uber

Uber is legal in the Netherlands and available at Schiphol airport and in the city.

How to get to the conference venue

Erasmus University Rotterdam (Woudestein Campus) is well accessible by local public transport:

  • From Schiphol Airport: Take a train to Rotterdam Centraal (intercity direct 25min or intercity 50min), and then use tram or metro.
  • From train station Rotterdam Centraal or city center (30min)
    • Tram 7, direction “Woudestein”, stop “Erasmus Universiteit”.
    • Tram 21 or 24, direction “De Esch”, Stop “Woudestein”.
    • Metro D, direction “Slinge”. Transfer at “Beurs”, to metro A/B/C in the direction of “Binnenhof”, “Nesselande” or “De Terp”. Get off at station “Kralingse Zoom”. This subway is within walking distance (10 minutes) of the campus.
  • From Hotel New York (35min)
    • Walk to metro stop “Wilhelminaplein”, take metro D/E to “Beurs”, and then transfer to metro A/B/C to “Kralingse Zoom”.
    • Watertaxi (call +31(0)104030303), from “Wilhelminapier / Hotel New York” to “Watertoren / Erasmus Universiteit”. This pier is within walking distance (10 minutes) of the campus.
  • From Savoy Hotel Rotterdam (20min): Walk to metro stop “Oostplein” and take metro A/B/C to “Kralingse Zoom”.
